Mission

To incorporate non-traditional, innovative, post fourth wall interpretations to reach new audiences and tell their stories.

To take theatre to the people by utilizing relevant educational and outreach tools to affect health and empowerment perspectives around the world.

To introduce theatre as a viable outlet and option for youth, a means to channel their creativity and talents in a way that gives them a voice.

To bridge cultural, generational and geographical divides by being a platform for universal artistic expression.

Vision

The Seven Collective’s vision is to revolutionize theatre into a social movement capable of articulating global commonalities, demolishing ignorance-driven intolerance and truly putting life on the stage.

Legacy

The work we do today is in the spirit of defining our collective aesthetic. We regard our mission as both sacred and dispensable. Sacred in that we strive to be true to ourselves and the purpose for our art. Dispensable in that it is constantly evolving and will not serve to confine us but establish a point of departure. Our work is in the community, in the schools, in the mind and in the spirit.

Design Team

We would like to acknowledge the brilliant minds that have applied their talents in concert to make this company possible. Mario Vinas who has been a brother to the company from its inception, provided us with the brilliant photography for our production of Closer and the photos used on the members page. Rico Steal, art director extraordinaire who designed our logo and is a precious resource to our team.

Special Thanks

Eugene Nesmith, Keith Grant, Julio Matos, Alfred Preisser, Miranda McDermott, our family, our classmates, our friends, soon to be friends, collaborators, inspirations, and so many more.
